The CoordiNet project is a response to the call LC-SC3-ES-5-2018-2020, titled “TSO – DSO – Consumer: Large-scale demonstrations of innovative grid services through demand response, storage and small-scale generation” of the Horizon 2020 program. The project aims at demonstrating how Distribution System Operators (DSO) and Transmission System Operators (TSO) shall act in a coordinated manner to procure and activate grid services in the most reliable and efficient way through the implementation of three large-scale demonstrations.
In addition to CoordiNet, the project INTERRFACE has also been selected under the call LC-SC3-ES5-2018-2020, titled “TSO – DSO – Consumer: Large-scale demonstrations of innovative grid services through demand response, storage and small-scale generation” of the Horizon 2020 program.
The two projects, CoordiNet and INTERRFACE, have since an early stage expressed willingness and intent to cooperate. This cooperation is manifested in this common position paper, which presents joint policy recommendations to lift identified barriers and deploy the solutions elaborated by the two projects. [...]
